When I’m Dead and Gone

simeon-muller-3505Why am I here?  What is my purpose?  And how can I fulfill this purpose and experience flow all the days of my life?

I feel most centered when I’m helping others see their true potential.  I am feeling more and more competent as a speaker.  When I’m on stage I feel alive.  It’s not about me, its about conveying a message, His message, to others to make their lives better, to give others hope, and to move them to step out and accept that challenge.

I feel equally alive when I’m accepting my own challenge, when I’m doing things that scare me and when others witness me doing these things.  Because as I accomplish something I was unsure of, when I conquer a fear I had and take action in spite of it, others see me as an example, and maybe, in some ways, I’m setting an example for myself, too.

When I’m dead and gone I want people to say I was not only a dreamer, but a doer.  Someone they looked to for inspiration and guidance. Someone who helped them work through their fears and self-doubt. Someone who allowed them to come into their own and achieve more than they ever imagined possible.  Someone who helped them feel fulfilled, satisfied, and peaceful.  Someone who made them see their own true nature and divinity.

I know I’m on my way.  There is a calmness about me that is reassuring and a knowing that grounds me.  It is said that when you find that thing you are truly passionate about, it will provide for you well.  I have not yet experienced this aspect of finding my purpose, but I know it is only a matter of time.  How satisfying will that be?
